Founded 1998 · Denizli, Türkiye
YASAD treats ageing as far more than a biological process: it supports research that examines ageing in its social, cultural, economic, political, psychological, ergonomic and architectural dimensions. A peer-reviewed journal, a biennial national congress and a three-year academy are the main pillars of that work.

National Ageing Congresses
Specialists in gerontology, medicine, social work, sociology and architecture convene to develop policy proposals on ageing in place, long-term care, digital literacy and accessibility. Each congress is organised by the association with a host university, in some years with the participation of the local authority.
