Ageing Workshops 001: “Elderly Care”

The first of the association's Ageing Workshops, entitled “Elderly Care”, was held on 11 January 2017 (09:30-17:00) in the meeting hall of the Faculty of Education, Pamukkale University.

Presentations covered ageing in place and sustaining the socialisation of older people, elderly care from the perspective of the health disciplines, and its psychosocial and economic aspects. The day closed with a discussion of problems in the discourse on elderly care.
