Publication Ethics and Policy
Open Access
Elderly Issues Research Journal is an open-access journal: every published article is freely available on DergiPark. Authors are charged neither submission nor publication fees.
Peer Review and Impartiality
- All manuscripts are sent to at least two referees under a double-blind procedure; the identities of authors and referees are withheld from one another.
- Editors do not discriminate on grounds of gender, institution, nationality or theoretical orientation.
Research Ethics
- Ethics committee approval is required for studies involving human participants and must be stated in the article.
- All submissions are screened for similarity; manuscripts exceeding 16% are not considered.
- Any use of artificial intelligence tools must be declared at submission.
- Plagiarism, data fabrication, salami slicing and duplicate publication constitute ethical misconduct and are handled in accordance with COPE guidelines.
Copyright and Licence
Authors declare that their work is original and has not been published elsewhere. Full texts of published articles are hosted on DergiPark; the article pages on this site provide the bibliographic record and, where available, the abstract and the persistent link (DOI).
