Panel: “Being Old in the City: Problems and Solutions”

The association's panel “Being Old in the City: Problems and Solutions” was held on 26 June 2007 at the Alsancak Cultural Centre, İzmir.

The programme covered the location of care homes in the urban environment, housing for older people, the attractiveness of urban space for older people and a slide show entitled “Old Age in Photographs”. The day closed with a panel chaired by Prof. Dr. Şenel Ergin on older people from a social and political perspective.
